Jessica day residence
One house... Two families?
Don't miss these evp voices!!! From Jessica's home
Why investigate this location?
Jessica is a friend of mine. She works countless hours as a healthcare professional, as well as being a single mother of three young daughters. When she said she felt uneasy in her home because the lights would flicker in whatever room she was in, she had feelings of being watched when she was alone, and also the punching bag in her room seemed to move on it's own, I knew we needed to come see if we could put her mind at ease. The claims of activity seemed easy enough to disprove, therefore leaving her feeling more comfortable in her own home. The fact that she has three young daughters was enough to bring us out. Children's wellbeing is always a priority. We will never turn down a case if there are children involved!... So off we went to help out a friend.
Debunking the claims of activity ... Fear cage? Poor electrical?...
It seemed simple enough, but no matter what we tried we could not get the lights to flicker even once. A moving punching bag, easy, loose floor boards, right? I stood directly beside the bag and jumped up and down... It didn't budge, in fact it was pretty hard to move by hand! If you check out the video page you may see this claim has some truth behind it! Lastly, the feeling of being watched. Hmmmm.... High emfs? Well, we did find that three walls in the kitchen emitted very high emf readings. High enough that anyone who spent any length of time in the kitchen could experience many of the side effects of a fear cage. A fear cage is any area where a person may experience high emfs from two or more different directions. This can cause every thing from nausia, fatigue, paranoia, skin irritations, and feelings of dread. Feelings of dread and paranoia, this could very well be why Jessica felt as if she was being watched.
The Investigation and Our Experiences
Personal Experiences
On the first night of investigating we did not experience any of the lights flickering, however, after the lights went out there were several instances where we experienced flashes of light for no apparent reason. We have to chalk these up to personal experiences because our cameras did not pick any of them up. We also heard many unexplainable sounds, like footsteps, and bangs or knocks. These were unfortunately not caught by our audio recorders.Another story for Jess to add to her collection. The second night we experienced unexplainable temperature fluctuations.Often it was when we would ask for a temperature change. It may have been only a span of 4 or 5 degrees, but when it is cold and windy outside, the furnace is turned off, and you can watch the temperature raise even a few degrees and then drop again just as quickly, it is really quite impressive.
K-II Meter Readings
The K-II meter picks up electro magnetic frequencies, similar to the way an emf detector picks up electro magnetic fields. There were several occasions when the k-II meter lit up for no apparent reason. We have a sample of this on our video page. The second night of investigations, after watching the emf detector slide across a highchair tray for the second time, we had a second light on the k-II flash. Then when Jess asked " can you do that again for us please?" , all of the lights lit up. This happened again later also. Two definite responses on the k-II is hard to overlook.
Electro-Magnietc Fields... Or EMFs
We did find a fear cage situation in the kitchen and an alarm clock that emitted very high emfs. These are normal and very common. We did find emfs that were anything but normal also! I have no rational explanations for what you are about to read. We walked though the house several times to check for base emf readings. This makes it easier to notice spikes on the emf gauge. There were many time when we would find emf spikes as high as 1.5 to 2.5. They would vanish as quickly as they came usually. A couple of the spike occurred between the baby bed and a nearby rocking chair. We had two spikes over an antique sewing machine, the foot powered kind. One of which was an 11.7! Very high for anything, especially for something that has no electric components. My favorite emf was on the second night. I decided to walk through the children's rooms and had a couple of spikes around 1.5 . I had one in the hallway outside of the bathroom door. Jess came to see what i was finding. We walked into the second room and i found the same reading on the top bunk bed. It went away. Then i found it on the bottom bunk. It went away. I followed it under the bed, across the room, through a closed closet door , through the wall to the bathroom, through the wall to the other bedroom closet. When it vanished in that closet, i could not find it again. It was just afterwards that I returned the meter to the highchair tray. It then proceeded to slide across the tray , not once, but twice. This was accompanied by an evp of a small child giggling, and followed by two responsive K-II spikes. It is my opinion that one of the entities is a small child who was playing games with me. Hide and seek, perhaps?
Electronic Voice Phenomenon
We often catch voices on our digital recorders that simply should not be there. These are called evps. We caught three at this particular location. The first was a man, second a woman, and third a child. Could this actually be a family who has chosen to remain here together? It is a comforting thought, but we simply do not have that answer yet. Evps are an important part of an investigation. They are good evidence and can often offer explanations and answers. We typically dedicate an entire page to evp audio clips. Don't miss them ! They are fantastic, and sometimes a bit chilling!
