Rick Kueber
Hi, and welcome to E.V.P. . I have had an interest in the paranormal since I was a child. Even so , i didn't have my first encounter with possible paranormal activity until I was in my late twenties. I always entertained the idea, and often visited graveyards and abandon houses in hopes of running into a ghost. I never did. I had a lot of experiences that I dismissed later, however, at the time I was sure they were supernatural! When I was married and in my late twenties, we moved into a house owned by a friend. It was a rental property, and he was trying to remodel it. It had been in his family trust for nearly seventy years. He said he couldn't do it any more. The house was depressing him and in his words , "had a bad vibe" . He claimed that everyone who had lived there for any time had the same feelings. After moving in and continuing the remodeling, I found it to be true. Unexplained noises, missing objects, the occasional whisper, and even an easily audible scream. Only after moving, and the house burning, I saw the sci-fi channel's show "Ghost Hunters". I began thinking how it may have helped me make sense of my experiences, and how I could maybe someday help others with their paranormal problems.
I have spent the last 19 years working construction, painting and drywall finishing. I have worked on every thing from Smokestacks to 150 year old building restorations. It all has helped me to trouble shoot paranormal activity,or debunk paranormal claims.
I have a few tools which I use in my investigations. They include a K-2 meter, digital ambient temperature thermometer, digital recorder, camcorder, and digital camera. I hope to, some day soon, add a thermal imaging camera and a zero-lux camcorder. Both are quite expensive, but very helpful.
Any questions can be asked in the contact page. Happy hunting, and as always, keep your eyes and mind wide open.
